In regards to the food and beverage industry, most companies from small to large are adapting in order to survive by creating innovative sales techniques and strategies to encourage people to order their wines and from their boutique daily menus. In several states, relaxed alcohol restrictions have also presented new business opportunities for restaurants. Wine and to-go cocktails are now commonplace on pickup and delivery menus, often for discounted prices to compete with wine stores. Many restaurants can make up to 40% of their profit from alcohol sales, and are not permitted to sell alcohol "to go" / off premises. Some states are allowing "to go" wine sales, and it seems to be what is keeping all restaurants afloat during this time. We encourage you to look into your local restaurant menu and alcohol options, and know that many of them are permitted temporarily to sell alcohol "to go" at the moment!!
