Fibonacci Cellars LLC

WINE IS A LUXURY PRODUCT. WE CAN USE IT TO FUND SPACE RESEARCH TOO.

Fibonacci Cellars LLC, previously Fibonacci Brokerage LLC, used to be a Sophisticated, Luxurious, and Transparent Wine Importing Company from Italy, Spain, and South America to the USA. We are now taking on the Aerospace Industry with an agenda!!!! Bringing together the old world of wine and the various grape varietals that prevailed with the New World of Space and Technology, the wine industry can benefit from Aging Wine in Space, Microgravity Research, Wine Advertising, Precision Viticulture, and spending time in harsh microgravity environments that help create conditions of adversity for grape varietals to learn to overcome harsher conditions of climate change on earth. The truth of the matter is we are attempting to collide two worlds while maintaining the strength and beauty from each world; Culture and Grape Varities from the Old World, and Technology from the New World and Space to advance the wine while maintaining their regional and cultural roots.

OUR MISSION:

SELL WINE THAT GOES TO SPACE and FUND RESEARCH PROJECTS ON WINE AND VINES FROM THE LUXURY SPACE MISSION PROFITS. EVERYONE WINS.

Our History

Previouslly called Fibonacci Brokerage, our team hand-selected the best wine in small-producer, boutique, environmentally conscious wine from all over OLD WORLD European Wine Regions, and deliver it directly to your doorstep--by case or bottle. We were amung the first 3 companies to sell wine online.

Our family and team spent a few months each year traveling through old world wine country, adventuring to importer/harvest festivals, exploring the tiny Azienda's/Estates, and searching for wines made by families, not monopolized brands.

We invested our time in wines and grapes that are vivacious and full of story so that we can bring them to you, the customer. We’re specialists in environmentally conscious wine - we deal in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French wines. Sustainable, environmentally conscious wine; It’s what we know,  it’s what we love, it’s what we drink.

Founded in 2017, Fibonacci Brokerage, now Fibonacci Cellars, was originally a small boutique wine importing company contracted with 10 personally known high end family wineries. Fibonacci Brokerage then acted as a Fine Wine Online Retailer based in the Space Coast of Florida. We specialized in supplying boutique curated wine to high end traders and  throughout the world, and to privately held events - combining excellent provenance and vintages with advantageous prices. Our wines are available for online retail direct to consumer market from Melbourne, Florida.

Alexandra Jenkins, the CEO, has spent 8+ years traveling and making connections with the people, culture, and world renown wineries in both Italy and Spain. She works on developing a close, family relationship with her producers to understand their individual wine making process and history behind what they produce. She has received her degree in International Economics and speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. She then turned around her career into aerospace, begining at SpaceX and Blue Origin, and moved into getting her Master's in Space Business from Florida Institute of Technology.

Alexandra is a millennial on the rise in the wine industry as she finishes her Sommelier WSET 3 Certification and moves on to her CMS 1 & 2. Alexandra is seeking wines from vineyards that not only have the finest quality and most unique grape varietals from the most superior wine regions around the world, but also wines deeply rooted with family history and stories. Additionally, Alexandra is constantly searching for new, innovative wine products and methodologies to sell and market internationally which has led her to entering wine into the space market. Space can create a invaluable asset in wine both in the short and long term.

WHY WINE IN SPACE?

"The wine is research. The wine is also a lure."

"That’s because the venture has a most unusual funding plan. Call it the Medici model: The research will be paid for in part by a luxury goods partnership that will deliver a customized chest full of objects flown to space to ultra-wealthy sponsors, called patrons, who back the project. The highlight of that chest will be a bottle of the wine. The idea is that this would be an artistic collector’s item unlike any other."

"After all, wealthy space enthusiasts from James Lick to Elon Musk have paid out of their own pockets to develop technology that satisfies their egos and delivers scientific data for the broader knowledge of humankind. The promise of the current generation of big-spending rocket entrepreneurs is that their vehicles will make it cheaper to do business in space. For that to pay off, companies like Space Cargo Unlimited and its competitors need to prove they can earn money there. So far, only five patrons are in talks with Gaume and company, so if you’re interested, there are spots remaining—and participation starts at seven figures."

If the push to make space a place for business as usual—a world of venture capital, return on investment, profitability—hasn’t yet arrived, but perhaps this is what the transition looks like.

WHY AGE WINE IN SPACE?

The Affect of Micro Gravity beginning at Low Earth Orbit is what Draws in Wine Connoisseurs and Vini/Viticulture Specialists alike. Gravity has shaped life on earth. Gravity is one of the only parameters of life that has not drastically evolved through time, as opposed to conditions such as light, humidity, temperature and pressure. Gravity has shaped evolution, life and matter as we know it today.

To counteract gravity, living organisms developed systems to provide cell system rigidity, fluid flow regulation, and appropriate structural support for locomotion.

Ecperiments in the last 10 years on the International Space Station suggest Gravity influences the way cells behave and develop in a profound and subtle manner.

In low Earth Orbit, cells exposed to zero gravity (micro gravity) are affected by physical changes that occur in this unique environment, that is impossible to re create on earth. these changes include loss of gravity dependent convection, negligible hydro dynamic shear, increase of membrane fluidity, and lack of sedimentation.

This leads to significant in the ways that cells respond to a wide variety of environmental and internal biophysical stresses. Enzmatic, genetic, and epigenetic pathways change in concert, leading to modifications of shape, function and behavior of cells and tissues.

These dynamics, properly leveraged on matter from Earth, can provide significant developments, in the fields of agriculture and health care here on earth.
